Patient Identification for Impella® Heart Pump Support

Welcome to the Patient Identification for Impella Heart Pump Support course. This course contains one lesson and a quiz. Additional optional resource materials are also provided in the lesson. This training focuses on how to identify patients appropriate for Impella device support. It covers the following:

• A brief overview of Impella heart pumps 
• Hemodynamic benefits to patients
• Identifying patients appropriate for Impella support
• Best practices for improving patient outcomes

Upon completion, you will have access to your certificate, which details credits earned for the curriculum completion (0.5 for ASRT and 0.5 for AACN). To complete the course, you must finish all modules and pass the final quiz.

Important: You have three attempts to pass the quiz. If you do not pass within those attempts, the course will be automatically reassigned, giving you another opportunity to complete the modules and retake the quiz.
