Proactive Patient Management for Impella™ Heart Pump Support
Welcome to the Proactive Patient Management for Impella Heart Pump Support curriculum. This curriculum contains one online course and a quiz (total duration approximately 40 minutes). Additional optional resources are also provided. This training focuses on how to proactively manage patients who are on Impella support. It covers the following:
- ICU check-in
- P-A-P method for proactive support
- Diagnosing and resolving potential issues
- Patient scenarios
Upon completion, you can download your certificate, which details credits earned for the curriculum completion (0.75 for ASRT and 0.75 for AACN). To complete the course, you must finish all modules and pass the final quiz.
Important: You have three attempts to pass the quiz. If you do not pass within those attempts, the course will be automatically reassigned, giving you another opportunity to complete the modules and retake the quiz.
