Dive into a full-day, immersive training experience designed for clinicians who want to elevate their expertise. This cadaver lab-based program combines interactive simulations with expert-led instruction, giving you the confidence to manage complex cases.

Work side-by-side with leading faculty as you practice real-world techniques for Impella CPTM and Impella RP FlexTM devices—including large-bore access, Impella insertion, positioning, and closure. Through perfusion-based cadaver labs and focused small-group learning, you’ll gain practical skills and actionable insights you can apply immediately in your practice.

Learning Objective:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify appropriate patient selection criteria in the context of high-risk PCI, cardiogenic shock and right ventricular dysfunction/failure.
  • Cultivate procedural expertise with Impella CPTM and Impella RP FlexTM insertion, explant & troubleshooting per IFU standards, including best practices for large bore access & closure.
  • Deepen skills in applying current guidelines and data to support decision‑making.

 

Target Audience:

This course is designed for U.S.–based Interventional Cardiologists, across all stages of practice, who are integrating or further expanding the Impella platform into their clinical practice. Participants must have prior experience utilizing Impella CPTM and familiarity with Impella RP FlexTM and are seeking to further elevate their technical approach and decision‑making in advanced tMCS strategies.
