Ideal participants include a blend of Champions involved in tMCS patient care, such as Interventional Cardiologists, Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Intensivists/Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Advanced Practice Providers in these specialties and Service Line Leaders striving to enhance their departments' utilization of Impella® devices.

Learning Objectives

This course is designed for institutions ready to standardize decision-making pathways, enhance communication across disciplines, and align their teams with best practices in cardiogenic shock management. The course will focus on patient presentation, patient management, and center-specific models of care. Participants should gain a comprehensive understanding of early patient identification, timely escalation, and strategies to design an effective system-based care pathway for optimal patient outcomes.
