Impella Heart Pump Access and Groin Management

The Impella Access and Groin Management online course discusses Impella CP with SmartAssist and Impella RP with SmartAssist access and closure techniques. The focus is on best practices to minimize vascular complications and topics covered are:

• Impella Heart Pumps and femoral access
• Introducers and repositioning sheaths
• Access and closure
• General patient groin management

Upon completion, you will have access to the course completion certification, which details the credits earned for curriculum completion (0.75 for ASRT and 0.5 for AACN). To complete the course, you must finish all modules and pass the final quiz.

Important: You have three attempts to pass the quiz. If you do not pass within those attempts, the course will be automatically reassigned, giving you another opportunity to complete the modules and retake the quiz.
