Manfred’s Brave Journey with Impella CP™ Heart Pump

 

At 82, Manfred Schinkel from Querfurt faced severe chest pain and a complex heart condition. Diagnosed with severe aortic valve stenosis and three-vessel disease, he agreed to a ballon valvuloplasty followed by a high-risk PCI supported by the Impella CPTM heart pump—hoping for a few more good years.

The procedure was a success, and the pump was removed the same day. Now, Manfred is symptom-free, walking and driving again.
