Bogusława’s Story: Returning to Life After Severe Illness

 

Wife and mother of two, Bogusława leads an active life. When problems with a persistent cough brought her to the doctor, she never imagined what would follow: a heart attack, myocarditis and severe heart failure.

The doctors inserted an ImpellaTM heart pump to temporarily support her heart function. After two challenging months in the hospital, Bogusława was finally able to return home.
