No Hospital will be considered without meeting the criteria for Centers of Excellence. Overall goal of Centers of Excellence is to establish 10 centers across the nation that will act as advance regional training centers for ABIOMED Circulatory Support Systems.
We will be able to schedule in advance training seminars that provide a standard level of training for our customers.
ABIOMED will provide a certificate to these Centers of Excellence and we will advertise the Program on our Website as well as in our Pulse Newsletter.
Eventually the only labs to take place for ABIOMED will be at a Center of Excellence.
The goal is to improve outcomes by improving the quality of the training that takes place. Emphasis will be made on a multi-disciplinary approach to training and helping every VAD program establish protocols that reflect best practices.
